How do I book a tattoo appointment in Comox Valley, BC?

How do I book a tattoo in Toronto, ON?
I plan trips throughout the year, so I will add you to a waitlist and contact you as I am choosing dates. I appreciate all my clients in Toronto and look forward to seeing you again!
Does every tattoo require a deposit?
Yes. To book a tattoo I require a $200 deposit.
How far are you booking out?
I typically book one month out for multi-session tattoos.
What is your cancellation policy?
Deposit is non-refundable*
Situations where the deposit is forfeit include but are not limited to:
If you arrive later than 30 minutes to your tattoo appointment (emergency situates can always be discussed).
The design has been started by a tattoo artist.
If you reschedule more than once regardless of notice — after the second cancellation, the deposit will be forfeited and a new one will be required to secure a new booking.
The deposit cannot be transferred in case of rescheduling if the client has given less than 48 hours notice prior to the appointment.
The tattoo appointment is not booked and not completed within six months of the deposit being paid.
The policies mentioned above, including, but not limited to, should be considered before proceeding with the payment of a deposit.
*The deposit can be refundable at the artist’s discretion, in cases of emergency.
The Design Process
Do you copy tattoos?
No, I create custom tattoos. I do take inspiration from reference images. For anatomy or animal drawings, for example, I will work closely with a reference image butI will make changes based on the style and techniques I use.
Do you do colour?
There are some instances where I will use an accent colour sparingly. But for the most part I work in black and grey.
Is your studio private?
I am currently working in a semi-private space in Courtenay. It is not a separate room, but the work space is not readily visible from the street or the rest of the retail space.
Can I bring someone with me?
I do understnd the need to have someone along for support. The work space is limited and for longer appointments it can be hard for a guest to wait, so sometimes it can feel rushed to have a guest who isn’t getting tattooed.
Pricing
How much do tattoos cost on Vancouver Island?
Pricing depends on a few factors; size, placement and level of detail. I do offer free consultations where I can get a better idea of these factors and provide a rough quote.
Do you charge by the hour or per piece?
Most tattoos are charged per piece. As a rough guideline I charge $1250 per day and $625 for a half day session. These session are estimated at 5 hours and 2.5 hours respectively.
What forms of payment do you accept?
I accept cash and e-transfer.
How do I care for my tattoo?
You will receive detailed aftercare instructions at your appointment. Proper healing is essential for long-term results.
